Remember "Fundraising Amy"? Or "Campaign Amy"?
Well... she's back!
This week I signed up the Team Challenge with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (Or CCFA). I will be participating on the Las Vegas Half Marathon Team, along with my good friend Missy, to raise money for the foundation to continue to find a cure for Crohn's. So, dear friends of mine, get ready. :)
We got involved with CCFA because our boss, Eric, found out recently that his son is affected by Crohn's- he was diagnosed within the last year or so. Jack is only 7 so this a really scary thing for him, as well as his parents. The CCFA is focused on both finding a cure, and helping those diagnosed to deal with these diseases through education and patient services like children's camps and support groups.
I'm sure there's more to come from the Jogging for Jack team very soon!
