...that's what she said.
What I meant to say was setting up this blog was so much easier and quicker than I had expected. One of my teachers advised me to start blogging (thank you Hope.) and I think I've been putting it off for so long because I was scared of how difficult it would be to set up and start writing... but here I am, only about 5 minutes after I picked up my computer and said to cori, "I should set up a blog right now."
Anyways, [spoiler alert] LOST was scary tonight. It was much more like SAW then the last couple episodes have been... also, I cannot handle broken bones at all. Needles? Sure. Blood? Most of the time. Broken bones, especially sticking out of the skin? Not on your life.
Tomorrow starts my weekend, so I'm really excited about that. But this weekend is the big V word... (I promise I'm not leading up to another "that's what she said") Valentine's Day, which is all well and good for couples and for single people who are delusional, but for everyone else... not a big day. But the advertising on tv would never know. Any company that sells anything that is pink/ red or has teddy bears are trying to capitalize on Valentine's Day this year... interesting because so many other industries have been cutting back in the face of this economic slump. But my thoughts are, if my significant other needs a commercial during the X-Games to remind him a) that Valentine's Day is coming up and b) that he should get me the teddy bear he saw on that commercial... he will not hold that title for much longer. But that may just be me... I can't forget that "I am not my target market"... thank you, Eller Marketing electives. At least something from this college education is sinking in.
Well that was fun-- my first bloging experience, I mean. I think I'm going to do this again, I just have to remember to bookmark it so that I can get back to it.
Amy all guys need a reminder (usually in the form of a TV commercial) to remind them of Valentines day and also to get ideas of what to buy. Just thought you should be warned from a member of your "target market."
