Challenge: accepted

The quarter century mark is a big deal, so on the eve of the celebration of my 25 years, Tommy M Bruce set forth a challenge for my next year.  Since my birthday falls so close to New Years this year, as it does every year, the opportunity to combine a Birthday and a New Years Resolution is huge, and so it was decided- I'd meet Tommy's challenge and post daily about my 25th year.  This will be very exciting, so I'm starting on the 31st, to kick start our New Year celebration.  And so it begins...

"Do you want to know what the real question was?"

Decemeber 31st, 2011

For the last week, I've been on the most amazing vacation.  Dan and I started the week relaxing in Po-Town with his family celebrating Christmas and catching up.  Mid-week, enter Cori the Best Malin all the way from LA to celebrate my new year and our new year in NYC with TMB for a classic Tommy-led city extravaganza, complete with endless flashbacks and story telling for all those who weren't a part of the stories the first time.  Thursday was my birthday, and while I had the most fun and well meaning friends, the crew was joined my Colleen from Boston via FungWah, I didn't make it too far.  After recovering for most of Friday, I finally came around and we took NYC one more time, and ended the evening at Big Daddy's Diner- a classic for Tommy visits, mostly for the tots. Again, something sparked a flashback story, which is the perfect subject for my first post.  The tots were plentiful and the company was better, like most of the trip so far.  I'm so thankful for these amahzing people in my life so I'm going to celebrate it all that I can.
